Pre-Care Instructions for Semi-Permanent Makeup

Please make sure you read and follow the following instructions to assure the best results for your semi-permanent makeup procedure:

Refrain from ALL alcohol, aspirin, or aspirin products, such as blood thinners.

Refrain from lbuprofen and Aleve for 24 hours prior to your appointment.
​​

Please also refrain from Vitamin E and fish oil capsules for 7 days prior to your appointment.
​​

All of these products can make you bleed excessively. Excessive bleeding during the procedure will negatively affect the longevity of your semi-permanent makeup application. In some cases, the application will need to prematurely stop due to excessive bleeding.
​​

The only product for aches and pains that will not make you bleed excessively is Tylenol.
​​

Lastly, please avoid any energy drinks and coffees for up to 12 hours prior to your appointment. Not having caffeine in your system will help you to relax more easily, as well as help to relax the facial muscles in the area we will be working on.

EYEBROW
​

Bring with you your most favorite eyebrow pencil/powder color to the appointment.
​
EYELINER
​

If you are wearing lash extensions - you need to have them removed at least 24 hours before coming in for Eyeliner procedure.
​​

If you wear contact lenses - please take them out and wear glasses instead.
​
LIPS
​

If you have a history of cold sores or herpes, you will need to take anti-viral medication 3-4 days prior and after the procedure to avoid an outbreak.

Keep your lips moist all day by applying Vaseline a week before and 30 minutes prior coming to your appointment.
​

Bring with you your most favorite lip shade color to the appointment.
​
